Unboxing Items
There are some types of items that are locked at first and can be opened by crafting them with another item. These items include crates and chests.
To open these items will need to have a key or a lockpick in your inventory.
How to unlock chests & crates
1) Open your crafting menu by typing /inventory
2) Add the item you want to open (chest / crate) along with a key or lockpick.
3) Press the craft button.
4) Your unlocked item will be added to your inventory!
Notes
- Unlocking an item with a lockpick has a 50% chance of failing and thus destroying the chest and lockpick. If the process fails, you will however be awarded a key fragment.
- If the chest or crate you are trying to open is not tradable, the resulting item will not be tradable either.
- You can sway the chances of retrieving a rare, relic, magic or painted item from a chest/crate by wearing items with different stats.
