The repulsion mine was one of the first mines, added in the smash update along with the smash map combine. when tripped, it hurls the player into the air, often at an angle. This is used to throw players over the edge, or purposefully done to leap or travel a far distance in a short time, such as to escape a collapsing platform, or get to a hard to reach gift. The repulsion mine has the most ammunition of any other mine, having a total of 4 minutes. It also has the fastest arm time of any mine, arming in 1.75 seconds from placement.
