Merasmus

After weeks of haunting the TF2 servers and torturing mindless F2P minions, Merasmus has stopped by our server to challenge all of the MoronYard community!


The Challenges

When you find Gifts on the servers, there is a chance they will activate Merasmus who wants to cause chaos on the MoronYard servers. There is a large amount of challenges which he can invite you to do:

  • Cash Challenges:
    • When a Cash Challenge is chosen, he will require people to spend a certain amount in the shop.
  • Crafting Challenges:
    • When a Crafting Challenge has been chosen, he will require people to complete a certain amount of crafting recipes - this includes open chests.
  • Trading Challenge:
    • When a Trading Challenge has been chosen, he will require people to complete a certain amount of trades - please note, you must actually finish the trade for it to be counted.
  • Fall Damage Challenges:
    • When a Fall Damage Challenge has been chosen, he will require people to die a certain number of times by fall damage.
  • Small Prop Challenges:
    • When a Small Prop Challenge has been chosen, he will require people to die a certain number of times by a small prop. This challenge is unique to the Slope server.
  • Mine Challenges:
    • When a Mine Challenge has been chosen, he will require people to activate (walk on) a certain amount of mines. This challenge is unique to the Smash server.

The Rewards

For completing the challenges which have been set by Merasmus you will receive Souls which can be used in crafting recipes to create new chat tags to appear next to your name, and unique legendary Halloween items. There are three types of souls which you can be awarded, the difficulty of the challenge will determine which soul you are awarded. The different levels are: Damned Soul (Hard) > Cursed Soul (Normal) > Rotten Soul (Easy).


  • If you craft three Damned Souls (Hard), you have a 100% chance of receiving a legendary item with at least one attribute, and a high chance for an effect.
  • If you craft three Cursed Souls (Normal), you have a higher chance of receiving an item with attributes, and/or an effect.
  • If you craft three Rotten Souls (Easy), you have a small chance of receiving a legendary item with attributes, and/or an effect.


You used to be able to purchase a Bundle of Damned Souls for 6 Damned Souls in the premium store for 1 gold bar (2 gold bars in 2013)! But now this has been Discontinued.
