The Drill mine is the fastest arming but slowest to truly activate. It is also the only mine To not directly affect players, as well as the only mine to actively damage the map's platforms. It has only 1 ammunition and takes roughly 60 seconds to destroy a platform.

A few tips to survive a Drill mine are to find a new platform, or to stand in the direct center if there is a support below. Chances are you'll fall safely onto it. However you may have to fight for the center, in which then it comes down to pushing and luck.
