What hat would be your dream hat? Heres mine...

There is no such thing as a dream hat because a dream is ever changing, one week you might love a Cone hat, the other you might love a Chef's hat.

I always liked the blue rabbit head that I have, but my dream item would probably be a festive tree hat with snow effect :P

Why do you have to go deeper than the post actually is? If "dream hat" isn't acceptable by your terms, then just imagine "dream hat" is changed to "your favorite hat" or "a hat you really want."
