Title: My Future Custom PC Build (Updated $-400+)
Post by: dark1 on December 10, 2012, 06:57:41 AM
Desktop Dream Build Computer: $1,491
I didn't add headset or mouse on the list because I already have good ones. :)
Fact: Building your own computer is much cheaper than buying one
Updated build list to cost less without cutting performance.
I actually enhanced the build at lower cost with AMD motherboard and CPU.
This build now cost MUCH LESS than it was with intel parts.

Ah yep I forgot to add the SSD.Im still updating the list. I just found better looking ram cards that are also 8GB and look well with the build. The power supply I believe 1,000W is all I will ever need.Still updating the list ATM.Sorry about modifying your post I meant to reply by quote. I am new to the usage of SSD drives...what are they used for and how much GB drive you need for extreme gaming?

Are you using Linux or did you not account for an OS?

Windows 7 of course. I don't wanna get windows 8...its a new operating system which means it going to have a lot of issues I think.New operating systems tend to not be as stable at lease for awhile until the issues are reported and that Microsoft fixes them.

Like Dariek said, if you plan to buy an operating system then you will need to put that in to your price breakdown. Windows 7 isn't free.
