Bans & Appeals / Re: Zarco's inventory ban appeal
« on: August 23, 2015, 09:42:19 PM »
As for such update as I got busy with work (sorry again).

One of the things I came across in the logs was that on your account you combined multiple rare hats into your collectors barrel hat. A total of around 10 hats were added to the collectors hat, of which in sets of 2, duplicates appear to be added.

By duplicates I mean they share either the same effect or the same prefix, stats, effect, or same prefix, suffix, stats, effect, and paint.

I've created an album from the logs detailing this located here: http://imgur.com/a/CORrq

As you can see in that album you combined a couple hats, one example shares the same prefix, suffix, stats , effect and paint. This is like having a 5 bags of marbles, each bag is like a different part of that hat. The first being the prefix, second suffix, the stats added by each prefix/suffix, the effect and paint. After drawing each you replace the item drawn into the bag.

Repeating that a second time and getting the same set of objects seems unlikely.

Other times in the logs I saw your account buy 10 money bags of 10 million each, and based on the logs you / your account or whomever was on it, appears to use the bug to duplicate the 10 money bags to 20.

This happens other times too, where way more cash bags than bought were redeemed with what looks like attempts to use the bug appear in the logs.

Edit: If for whatever reason this needs to be unlocked just pm me.

So it seems the access to the logs is fixed or partially fixed, so will see what I can find.

Again I apologize for this taking so long to handle.

Still have to get the logs through nonsense I believe. As the way staff normally has gotten the logs in the past is broken.

Sorry for it taking so long, I will try to get them asap. I don't like leaving you hanging regarding this and will continue to try to get  the logs.

Adding my 2 cents as requested by stebb.

When you initially had the bank system give you more arcane shards than you actually took out, I said you shouldn't do anything with the extra items before I talked to stebb or nonsense regarding the situation. This way I'd know what to do with the duplicated items. If I recall correctly, you said you would also contact stebb as you had him on your friends list.

During this time you had crafted 4 relics if I recall out of the total shards you had. As I recall someone saying you crafted more than you should have, and something about only being able to keep 2 of the relics made. Which would be 16 relic shards, not 8 as in the original appeal post. Feel free to correct any information I may be remembering incorrectly, I just remember you crafting 3 or 4 relics when you mentioned to me it gave you more relics shards then it should have.

The other thing is that it didn't seem you attempted to contact stebb with an offline message about the issue. As the next day stebb messaged me about his suspicion to which i mentioned what happened the previous night and asked if he had contacted you. I recall the answer being you didn't get in contact with him until you were confronted regarding all this stuff.

Be it if you didn't at least leave a steam offline message, you could have at least sent a private message via the forums to the owners regarding this.

Again, you or stebb can post a reply if something is being recalled incorrectly.

The one thing I'm wondering Is if you consistently saw this happening with both yourself and other players, was there any reason you didn't attempt to report the issue before it came to this?

Help & Support / Re: Cannot open Item Queue
« on: January 20, 2015, 06:26:16 AM »
You may be misunderstanding how to use the bank. To my understanding, for in game any item you get when your inventory is full goes to the item queue. Each time you join the server, the item queue system will attempt to give you your items from your queue if you have room in your inventory. So you would receive whatever items you can hold from the queue when your inventory has some free space the next time you join.

To free up space in your inventory you can either delete unnecessary items, or if registered for the bank, you can use the "Send to bank" option under the actions button in your inventory.

From your bank in the explorer on the website, you can view your bank if logged in. From your bank you can choose to filter, search, etc through your items. Additionally you can delete items in your bank as well as send them to your item queue to retrieve them in game. To do either of these actions you click on the items you want to select them. Afterwards you would click the button of the corresponding action you would like to do. The "Retrieve" button sends the items to the item queue, while the "Delete" button deletes the items.

If by chance you aren't registered for the bank, the wiki link above for the bank will both show you how to register for the bank, as well how to use it with pictures.

0x50 since people already did things like imaginary numbers, why not throw HEX (base 16) into it as well if it hasn't already done so.

Build To The Top / Re: So much fun
« on: September 24, 2014, 06:20:51 AM »
Potentially couldn't the way the rounds and rewards are change in such a way it gives everyone time to get to the top, get some cash and potentially an item. It could be a variant of the following idea:

1st, 2nd, 3rd and (4th or last if less than 4 teams) have different loot tables they can roll from for the prize for completion. Once the first team completes a countdown happens to the end of the round. People that get up get a prize from whatever loot table they would fall under. Potentially could give people that don't make it a participation prize like a wooden fragment if anything at all.

Another option could just be making the rounds straight time attack, and prizes be based on the time it took to get to the top.

Finally it could just be a mixture of any of the above ideas but without item prizes, instead cash to avoid any issues the item prize incentive has.

Help & Support / Slight error regarding the VGUI in game
« on: September 09, 2013, 07:57:03 AM »
Code: [Select]
[ERROR] addons/nondb-beta/lua/nondb/vgui/custom/invitem.lua:198: bad argument #1 to 'WriteUInt' (number expected, got nil)
  1. WriteUInt - [C]:-1
   2. DoClick - addons/nondb-beta/lua/nondb/vgui/custom/invitem.lua:198
    3. OnMouseReleased - lua/vgui/dlabel.lua:206
     4. unknown - lua/vgui/dmenuoption.lua:116

Edit: Seems the first error above was caused by the item being unselected in some way either sent to the bank from a filtered view and quickly clicking the action button again for that item, or any time the action menu is used and no item is selected. More likely to happen accidentally to a person if they were sending an item to the bank and it took a fraction longer than usual .

As well another minor bug would be sending an item from your inventory when using a filter to view specific items and sending one to the bank doesn't actually remove it immediately from that filtered view until you remove the item filter and re-click it.

Ex: Click gem filter, send 1st gem to bank, it still appears there until you remove the gem filter even though its already in the bank.

Neither seem at least to require immediate attention, may just confuse some users if they even notice.

General Discussion / Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hey, I'm Sonic5039. Had been registered on the forums but never bothered posting before and had played in the past and started playing again recently. I used to be at Sassilization before they had shut down as a developer (lua). Besides Lua, I occasionally will code some things in other languages I have learned over the years. I guess that's about it in a nutshell.
