Only really need help from an admin / dev / owner. Don't reply if you're not one of those.

So basically, I lost all my mines. Some time around 8-9 PM EST yesterday, I rejoined to claim my gold bars, and my mines were all missing. I lost a puppet, drill, and repulsion. Any chance I could get a refund or something?

Nonsense is the only one who can help you and when I asked you about it yesterday you said you were talking to him. You will need to wait for him to reply, sorry.

I have been trying to figure what could cause this but I haven't figured it out. There is no way for me to fix this unless you describe exactly what you did before you left, when you left, what happened when you came back, what map you played on, what time, etc.

Seeing how I was also effected by the bug.

I played for a round with the mine selected, left, donated, came back, got the bars (lost the mine) and started talking to you on steam. It was about 00:30 GMT on Sunday Night (Monday Morning) and it was on Canal. Do you need anymore details?

Similar thing for me.

I left to rejoin for gold bars, but when I came back my mines were gone.

The only thing I did differently than usual, was that I used the inventory filters in a line on the top of the inventory. I'd never used them before, so I was checking them out, and I used the mine one a few times to look at just my mines. Not sure if that helps or has any relevance, but like I said, it's the only thing I did out of the ordinary for me.

I also used the filters earlier in the day when I was looking for an attachment to wear, I haven't used it before.

I used the filters a lot to find stuff. And the fact that he used the mine filter and he lost his mines, there is probably some relevance with that.

Filters are clientside only.

The way it works is like this.

Code: [Select]
Player joins the game.
Server fetches information from database server DB.
Server stores information on each player object (serverside).
Server tells Player information (server -> client).
Player does something: Client sends information to Server.
Server updates information in DB.

Filters are created on the items that are stored on the client. Theoretically, you could delete or corrupt all information on the client without affecting the actual data.

This means that the whole problem is most likely a faulty algorithm on the server (think: sorting, crafting, ...) or inaccurate communication between "Server" (gameserver) and "DB" (database server). The latter is an absolute nightmare to fix or even reproduce.

You know, the reason for a lot of the problems with item disappearing is a full inventory / items in inventory queue. Please clean that out first.

Done. Gave away tons of painted stuff. I have like a full page of space left now.
