Just a place where I post some progress.
Currently adapting the item hoverboxes to display weapon stats:

Looks really nice,
Probably a "hporb" based on google inspect element in his inventory.
As much as I agree it looks like an orb, maybe we should move this discussion to another thread - perhaps even create a thread for suspected or confirmed information (http://moronyard.com/forums/index.php?topic=1859.0) which is data that has been compiled by people from teases/images posted by nonSENSE? :)

Currently working on the biggest and most complex backend system of the gamemode.

As some of you already know, the gamemode will be hosted on several small servers 4-8 players / server with each server having 1 difficulty level assigned (several servers per difficulty). Currently, the networking system between the lobby (yay), the database and the actual gameserver is being set up.
With the networking feature, players can (and have to) go through the lobby to join a gameserver (preferably as a party).
A big feature for each gameserver will be the ability to save the game state every few seconds so that even if the server crashes, all players can rejoin the game and do not lose any progress. All gameservers have been assigned names (such as Leoric) and the passwords are simple phrases, so you can easily rejoin the game in case you crash (at that point you do not need to go through the lobby to re-enter the game).

Players join the server via the lobby and wait for everybody to connect to start the game. Getting close to a good lobby system. Now all we need to do is add more content (mobs, items, bosses) and balance the whole thing. Easy.

Might want to be sure you cant grief the system, seeing as how this type server does tend to attract people of that sort.

Don't worry, there are plenty of anti-griefing mechanism:
- Loading players, who fail to ready up after 2 minutes, will be unable to join any Sanctuary lobbies for a fixed period of time in the main lobby.
- If not all players ready up after 2 minutes, the players are returned to the main lobby and the server is restarted and marked as free for other players to join.
- The process of joining a Sanctuary server occurs in the main lobby, where players can form parties to join a server together. There are additional mechanisms in place that prevent players from disrupting other players while joining games.
