I'm mainly salty that more randoms won items than anybody else; even if Mark or Ronda won everything, at least it's a regular that won. We're likely to not even see those randoms ever again, either. ;-;
The people who won items weren't exactly randoms.  For them to be able to have won, they had to be on in the last month and had to have bought a lottery ticket.

Fair enough, but how many of those people are we actually going to see again? If they joined for the first time this month and popped on their Token find, it wouldn't take long at all for them to get enough tokens for a lottery ticket.

I can see where you're coming from, as the person who won the Double or Nothing scroll hasn't played in the last couple weeks.

So much salt in this thread. I'll keep that in mind for the following months where this event will never be held again. Oh well..

Change how it is done take feedback from the community. Or just guess on what is the best thing to do, that works too.

There is so much constructive criticism in this thread. I don't even know where to start.

The process of choosing winners is entirely random. There were over 600 users who were eligible to receive any of the 50 items.  It's funny how the people complaining are also the ones who are absolutely certain they are the most important people in the community.

Make it so you have to be online at the time on one of the servers to win. Butok.

What about the people who can't be online because they live in a different timezone or are otherwise busy (even though they might play 8 hours a day any other day of the week)? There'd be even more players complaining in this thread because they "missed" the event. This is basically what happens every time we schedule a tournament or other event and that's why I chose for the event to include all players.

Yeah let's base this one the one complaint you found on the forums and ignore the shitstorm I had to deal with on steam and on the servers.

What if the lottery tickets were worth more tokens than they currently are?
Had to go check on this, but if a new player joins the server and automatically gets fifteen tokens, they can just grab a ticket and be off. This would not only limit random people that we're never going to see again, winning, but also people with alternate accounts jumping on and grabbing a ticket, then leaving.

Well, I don't see a problem with random people winning; they may or may not come back. The lottery gave out free items; if the  person doesn't come back, you don't lose anything.

I realize I could have worded that a little better. I was saying if people had to play more on the server to work towards a lottery ticket, there would be a better chance of them actually sticking around. They might find it more appealing as they play more, and in turn, we gain another regular.
Finding out people used alternate accounts to get in on the lottery seemed a bit unfair, as well. Any "random" can be an alternate account, and raising the token price for the ticket can help cut down on that, in my opinion.

Very nice prizes nonSENSE and good job to those who won. I dont really see the point of complaining about this. You either get a free item worth a decent amount or you dont. Its not like it takes away from you in anyway. I just find it fun to see the lottery in effect again. Hopefully even with all the salty dogs in here nonSENSE will be nice enough to give everyone another chance to possibly get some dope ass items.
