I'd suggest rounding the edge where it slants or simply making the flat surface extend all the way to the camera and adding some plants and/or making it a slightly rougher terrain than the path.

very slightly flattened out the area closest to camera, displaced the terrain a bit, added some plants and a fallen tree, added random lightening, some props to the campground and smoothed out some of the displacements on the map and skybox

what else should i do?

Made it darker, added a light to the flame, added rain sound, added thunder sound

One thing is those skybox trees wont change from that light brown colour which makes it look fucky but other than that its looking almost done

Right now its about 2300 units long.

So I decompiled the current sanctuary map and took a look at the specifications for sanctuary, and copied them accordingly.

I extended the map to 2512 units (2 more than current sanctuary map), added a suicide area behind the spawn, added 8 info_player_terrorist spawns for the zombies to spawn, and narrowed the playable area to 48 units wide. Also, I removed the stupid apartment in the background that I added for no reason a while ago

remem
what about making like, wooden stake barricades?
i feel like it matches the new environment
The old map was in the middle of the city, and the last one worked, yet a new one, more improvised looking and stranded-like works

But then again idk who i would be telling that to >.>
