Title: Weapon Idea: Land Mine

I came up with this the idea of a landmine secondary weapon yesterday, it could have a set time to plant (maybe 5 seconds), a set time to "reload" (maybe 15 - 20 seconds), and would disappear after rounds to make sure people can't just plant too many. The damage output could be about as much as a melee, or higher, to compensate for the long time it takes to plant/reload.

I don't know what your planning for the future, but this idea came up, and I thought, since sanctuary is still in beta, that is has a chance to be added. It could also be a useful tool since your planning on removing kiting.

Note: I've already obtained  other people's opinions on this yesterday, so that's why I'm making an effort to post this.

Feels as if a 5 player team can place these and get rid of one wave easily, although then again the reload time would screw them over if they tried to replace it on the oncoming wave.
ALSO maybe think about adding repercussions to the player who placed it, such as 50+dmg if stepped on, or insta-gib if stepped on by the player who placed it yet not other players?

yeah, well i wasn't sure what would be reasonable for weapons and this idea just came up...i'm sure if it was added, it would be properly balanced, and i could see how stepping on a land mine you placed could work and maybe a player could only place a set amount per wave, and to compensate, reduce some of the reload or set times.

I'm pretty sure if this was gonna be added it would've gained more attention earlier, so i don't think  its gonna be added, and sanctuary seems fair as it is. Plus I lost interest a long time ago
