I am just wondering if relics can be found in crates. Can they or can they not be found in crates? I just want to confirm whether its possible or not. I know they can be found in relic chest 100%. Is it possible to get a rare or relic in the item drop system? I would assume it being extremely rare if the item drop system can give you one.

Yes they can, all relics, painted items and rares can be found in crates. (Even rare painted relics can be found!)

Is it possible to get a rare or relic in the item drop system?

I would say no, I have never seen nor heard of it happening and I have been around a long time.
