Why cant all games look this good

I as viewing Skyrim high res texture packs when i came across this video that just blew me away

This game Crysis came out in 2008 and this is probably the best looking game iv ever seen. The guy is runnig very low FOV so you might get a little bit dizzy from the video but why cant games have this type of detail and visuals by now? Crysis 2 normal doesnt even look this good and iv looked up Crysis 2 high res packs aswell but they dont look as good as this IMO.

I assume one of the big main reasons is because of the limited hardware capabilities of consoles. Developers need to cut corners here and there in order for it to be optimized and perform well on a console. You'll notice Crysis is a PC exclusive, where as Crysis 2 is not.

I've just noticed that Crytek put Crysis 1 up on PSN and Xbox Live last year, but I can guarantee it doesn't have the same level of quality as the PC version.

Crysis 1 on xbox and ps3 has less quality then the default crysis version on pc thats a fact.
