Video Games / An Idle Game - Just like MoronYard

So, as the title says - I have found an Idle game that Resembles MoronYard in the following topics:
- Sockets and Magic (Gems too)
- Random Items, Names generated based off stats
- Updates slowly (:P)
- Helmets and Bodies

If you do not know what an Idle game is - I will, myself, put a brief description in my own words below - what it means.

An 'Idle' game is NOT a game based off "http://www.idle-games.com/"
Even though they took the game "type", an idle game is not based off that company.
An Idle game is a game you (you guessed it~) idle on. A game where little to no attention is put into the game after a certain point, due to everything going automatically. The most common-known idle game is "Cookie Clicker", which I have never played - but I have learned from a member in this community that it is a very addictive game, updates normally, and has a huge support "fan-base" (If I can call it that...) supporting the development of new patches.
After the first few minutes (or an hour, or 2 hours - depending on the speed of the Idle game) You will find yourself leaving this game on, playing in the background of whatever you do - only to check in on it every now-and-then.
For the past 2 days, I've been playing (and idling) on http://goldenminer.org/
This is an idle game where you start off as a lowly miner, with levels and whatnot. You have a magic chance that helps you find potions, armor, scrolls, and gems.
Do spend your skill points wisely, they are somewhat permanent (unless you find a scroll called the "Amnesia" scroll, then you can reset. I have only found ONE of those in 36 levels, and It takes about 2 days to level 36. (To be precise - 32:32:13 (32 Hours, 32 Minutes, 13 Seconds) To be level 36 with 70% Exp or so)

Have fun idling on this game, while you idle on MoronYard.

So, I will keep this straight to the point (for the beginning), What is the real rule with item usage?
I want this post really to just be for Nonsense since he's the one confusing me after what happened back then.
I, when researching fully all the effects and outcomes of every magic stat, wanted to build a magic set for the community to use at a price. To have a sort of an "uncrating" income, and to assist players along their way in the Moron Yard server.

Now, that being said (and already done), I started to uncrate player's crates for a small fee every crate (or free if it was 4+ Keys and Crates). A recently-resigned moderator has done this as well - with 1-2 others I can't remember for the life of me. At day 3 or 4 of doing this, Nonsense himself (you, if you're reading this Nonsense) comes into the server, notices me doing this - and literally yells at me and goes angry against me for somewhat "breaking the rules".
Now, the reason he gave was very simple to understand. If given a player you know - that has a high stat in a certain field, it removes all thoughts or motives to want to build a set of the same nature (In turn, ruining the economy slowly). But I do have a reason why that effects nothing to the economy, but somewhat benefits from it, but i'll explain that later.

This was a post created by "Panda" Asking exactly what happens with "crafting for other players". The reply was given by an admin (to my knowledge), saying "Though I don't fully support this, it is allowed." Giving the 2 reasons that allow for broad options to be chosen.
But one of the options it does not list in it's broad list of 2 answers, is that you don't charge the players what-so-ever.

I discussed this with Bing, Nightmare, Panda (slightly), and I think even unknownX (Not sure on that one) - but I wonder then what is the right rule?
That post Panda made is 2 months old, and yet no reply or revamp was made by Nonsense who clearly (and 'nicely') pointed out it was against the rules.
So I'd love a reply from Nonsense himself, laying down the exact rule as to why this was against the rules when it comes to me, but not against the rules to the tens of players I witness, every so often, that did the same thing I used to do.

Now, before you reply saying that it was the charging portion that made it against the rules Nonsense (If you were, in which case - if you're not, still read on ahead), hear me out on why it is not.
Going over with multiple players, I've actually concluded that charging players for set usage should be a rule of sorts. With a payment over their heads to uncrate just a single crate (or a set of crates) makes them spend more of their cash to do something they could have easily done with the right set (example being, You spend 1 mil on a key, and found a crate 11 - but you have to spend 100k per uncrate - losing a mil every 10 uncrates due to you not having a set of your own). If pricing on uncrating was against the rules, I for one say that it is anything-but against the rules. It still influences players to go for their own uncrating set, cash still flows, no prices are skewered in the process, and given the lucky shot with the right price... Both players are satisfied in the end.

So, Nonsense - clarify this for me?
That's all I ask.

Smash / Am I not the only one...?

Am I not the only one who is annoyed at the healing nerf?
The point of healing is to survive an upcoming damaging event (tipping platform, ricochet, etc.)
Now the healing is almost pointless since it heals you after you are safe from things that damage you.
Not to mention it's not fair in the reverse set.

- All sets are built with at least 2 relics.

A Speed set :
- Fast
- Low Max HP
- Health Reduction (minimal)

A Healing set :
- Slow
- Max HP Increase (medium-high)
- Health Regeneration (Fast, but slow)
( Nerf ) + 10 Second Damage-controlled Time

But now with the nerf, the healing set now has to wait 10 seconds for it to heal the player (If they have taken even falling damage)...
I'm not the only one who sees this annoying?
Being that the smash server is fast paced, and blocks will make you move every 10 seconds or so - The speed debuffs on all relics (pertaining to healing) should be removed, or this nerf needs to be re-worked, cause it makes hp-regen look as pointless of a magic-stat as painted chance... :c

Note: I wish to not bring racism/nationality into this, but people who cannot speak English - or understand it, really shouldn't be in the server. They will not follow rules, listen to advice, or speak with the general public. (I say this, for there are multiple Russians in the server during this incident, and it should be thought upon.)

Also, Add a Killbox on all the parts of the bridge people can stand on... Maybe hurt them 5 health per second, or make it an instant kill if they touch any part of the bridge up there?

The server (In particular, Smash) has been chattering and sharing idea after idea that has never been posted in this ghostly sections of the forum. I for one have had it with ideas not being jotted down, posted, and reviewed by none other than the owners who can change and update for the better. This post will be ideas that only I, Masterkev, will jot (type) down in detail - name, purpose, and reasoning, of every idea posted here. My typing speed allows me to type out ideas faster than the average gamer. Contact me if you have a new idea, and chat it out for me as we'll work it out as a new post in this forum, with your name as the idea owner - details and everything thought out, and the ratings/posts will show approval or dislike against the ideas by the community.
All Ideas do not come from me, but from the community of Moron Yard. Long playing veterans have seen it dull as newcomers find excitement to reach the feeling of "end game". These ideas posted here will be not only to add in simple ideas, but to add in code changes, game behavior, and other methods of making the game more enjoyable and give it a better reason to stick around, and play for longer.


All Idea posts will be posted by me, in a format that I'll follow, to make it easier to differentiate between replies and comments, to ideas and information.
Please do not try to copy my format, as it may come out in an error and will only cause problems when fixing the post. Wasting time, typing effort, and post-space.

When showing the new idea, i'll place the idea creator, or where the idea came from, nearby it. If the creator is someone I can get the name of - in the forums (which I will, in every case I hear a new idea), their FORUM name will be placed as the 'creator'. To provide security to steam accounts, and any other possible problems.
All ideas require no "title", as the idea itself is what makes the thought count, not the fancy name attached to the entire idea post.

My first post, and format will be posted below this separation line.

New Idea - Created By: Masterkev

Outline
The players have little to no reason other than random gift spawns, and the rare chance of mythical items glowing, to stay in the server after all items are found. This idea will layout a new feature that will give the server an increased "addiction" factor (as in more fun to play, and more reason to stay playing longer periods of time). Giving the server a slight player boost in overall (player) numbers, more enjoyment for mid-tiered to high-tiered players, and little assistance to all players who play on the Smash server.

Reason to implement
The server has no random events happening every round, that could spark a 'new' feeling into every game (round) they play. This idea insists on making every round roll a random multiplier that affects all players stats in a certain way. This stat effect can make stats like Magic, Rare, and Key-find. But it's not always a stat multiplier. It will roll for many other random chances, events, and goodies that'll make staying in smash, worth it, every round.

Information
Let's get down to random. The love of random is in everyone! In gambling, stock marketing, gaming (like minecraft and starbound), and in every-day life 'surprises'. What better way than to make the entire server give everybody a random they have to deal with? This will not always be good, nor will it always be bad. It's random~
Also, this will give mythical items even more of a purpose to be sought out for - due to the fact that the multiplier stacks on mythical items, when the special glow happens.

Note: Do Read on completely, as all will explain itself later.
The server will roll 2 multipliers, and roll a third (Explained later) Gaming Modifier...

Multiplier 1 : Chance Multiply!
The server will roll for everyone publicly - a multiplier from 1.0 to 1.5. 1.5 Being the highest multiplier and the most uncommon (Chanced at 0.25% to come out), this multiplier will make people wait for the highest they can get, and try their best on it. This multiplier effects Magic, Rare, Key Find, Paint, Fragment Find, and Relic chances (Possibly even Socket-Chance?).
Chances go as followed (can be changed, but I highly recommend-...)
0.25% Chance for 1.5x
0.75% Chance for 1.4x
1.5%  Chance for 1.3x
6%     Chance for 1.25x
12.5% Chance for 1.2x
25.5% Chance for 1.1x
53.5% Chance for 1.0x (No Multiplier)

Multiplier 2 : Gain Multiply!
The server will also roll a second multiplier (publicly), for weapon/gain stats that affect nothing in item finding. This multiplier ranges from 1.0 to 2.0. 2.0 Being the highest multiplier and the most uncommon. This multiplier effects Cash, Voting Power, Maximum Health, Movement Speed, and HP-Regen' Stats.
Do Note: This idea is made for Smash Only, not made for Slope! IF made for slope, make cash have the chances of the multiplier above!

Chances go as followed (and of course, can be changed, but I highly recommend-...)
1.5%----2.0x
2% - - - 1.9x
3.5%----1.8x
5% - - - 1.7x
7.5%----1.6x
9% - - - 1.5x
10.5%-- 1.4x
12.5%-- 1.3x
13%---- 1.2x
15%---- 1.1x
20.5%---1.0x

Multiplier 3 : Game Modifier!
The game of smash is to dodge the blocks, and make sure you are the last one standing to receive your reward, correct? But this Multiplier doesn't just multiply... It changes the game to a measure that is not always defined "Normal". Let me explain...
This modifier has a 1/5 (20%) chance of actually happening. So every 4/5 rounds, you won't see this happening. Aka. This won't happen as often as the always-multiplying other 2.

The server will roll this as the final roll after every round. They effect random things that are in smash!
It may roll additional ammunition! Allowing players to place +X (X - Being the Number added) More mines that round! It may also multiply how Mine effects affect you! A Bleed may make you have to stop moving for 6 seconds, due to the bleed effect, but if this game modifier is rolled, you may have to be waiting 10 seconds! Maybe only 2!

This modifier can add ammunition, increase the effect time of mines, make all mines placed a special type of styled mines (Custom ones added for this exact event possibly~?), increase the force of the mine (Repulsion mine repulse farther, slow mines slow you down slower, etc.), it can even make it so that mines can be placed even closer to each other! It may even give all non-afk players an extra item to find...
(confetti goes on every non-afk players during the next round start-up, if the event "+1 Item" has been made. It plays the cheer noise on all non-afk players and it also throws confetti around all participating players who are playing)

The number of additional ammunition can be ranged from 1 to 4 - to keep things fun and not hectic.

Event Chances follow (As I recommend-)
Ammunition Add : 25%
Mine Force Increase : 15%
Mine Effect Increase : 15%
Closer Placement : 25%
Special Styled Mine Round : 10%
+1 New Item to Find! : 10%

An example will be explained below on how the server will determine 2 simple rounds in the map "Eye"... With an explanation of the 2nd half of this idea.
Both of which will be rolled as if an event happened, but the chances of an event happening in the server (event, meaning multiplier #3) is 1/5 (or 20%) chance.
Bad roll is explained in the near-future, just continue on reading...

The Bad Side Effect (The 2nd Half of this Idea)
Being though, the "2nd" half of this idea, it'll look relatively small. It's the exact same size, if not, even bigger (due to the addition of bad events).

Every so often, you'll see that the server rolled a bad roll. The chances of the server giving a bad roll is 1/5.

So what does this mean? If the multiplier rolled a 1.3x on Magic chance, but it rolled bad - it'll lower (technically, increase) the base magic chance.
Example: There is a 1/3 chance of getting a single attribute on an uncrated item (Without any magic increase). If the server rolled a bad 1.3x - the chance of you getting a single attribute goes from 1/3 to 1/3.9 (or rounded, 1/4).
Now it may sound not so harming without any increase in stats. But if you, for example, have a magic chance increase of 150%, your chance gets divided by 1.3, to (about) 115% magic chance.
Before Bad Roll: 150% -> 2.5/3 (83%) Chance of Attribute
After Bad Roll: 115% -> 2.15/4 (54%) Chance of Attribute

It reduces your rate, and influences no unboxing should be done if you have any sort of magic(/rare/paint) set on at this time.
This bad roll affects the same way in the 2nd multiplier.

But the third one is where it gets fun but bad....
It instead has a chance of increasing box-release rates (the cubes of death in every smash level. This also includes the balls from Space Station), Decrease the time it takes to get to sudden death, and almost double the gravity of the round! It can even make your mines easier to spot! Each one of these effects have a 25% chance of happening, if the 20% chance of a bad roll happened, with the 20% chance of the Event even being a reality.

Here are 2 more Examples but without the showing of the order...
Parts where "- Is it a Bad roll? No." above, goes from "No." to "Yes.", In order from the first example, to the 2nd.

Rare Chance has been Decreased by 1.2x!
Movement Speed has been Decreased by 1.1x!
BAD EVENT : Gravity Has Been Doubled!!!

Magic Chance has been Decreased by 1.1x!
Cash Rate has been Decreased by 1.3x!
BAD EVENT : Your mines are now CARS!

Result
The chance at the multiplier being good for one round, or for 1 more item to drop into your pockets at a low chance (20% event + 80% good roll + 10% Item = 1.6% Chance of having a "+1 Item" Event roll successfully in the server), to events that randomly spice up the game every so often. Implementing this will give users the chance to gamble their luck by playing round after round, in hopes of finding the multiply # of their dreams, an extra item, or unluckily face the wrath of bad events and bad multipliers.

Remarks and Notes
The rate of finding an item can be fiddled around, I was trying to go for a 1% Chance - but these numbers are a bit mind-boggling at the moment... sorry xwx....
Anyways, I took about... 2 hours making this entire post as clean and understandable as possible. I want to ensure everyone understands this (even those who know nothing of fractions, or how the server rolls a luck factor). Just like the other ones - I'll update them if I have ideas under the categories they're for.
I have one idea now - and i'll update more posts under this topic if I have any more.

I have an idea similar to my SLOPE ( http://moronyard.com/forums/index.php?topic=1302.msg8363#msg8363 ) Idea.

Just like the chances - a 1/20 chance that a (this is my name for it, but it can be debated and changed) Hallucinogenic round starts. In a H. round, 20 blocks come out of every pipe (usually there are only 2 pipes in every map, but some include only one - the ones with only one pipe, should spawn 40). The catch? Only 2 of the blocks (just like normal rounds) actually inflict physical damage to players and platforms. The other 18 blocks are ghosts and they fly through players and platforms, inflicting no damage. If a ghost block hits a player though - it stuns them like a stun mine, for 1-3 seconds - like being "scared", but they're not dead.

The winner of this round should have double the win (double the profits), and all kills should be doubled in worth as well. Gift rates should stay the same since it's an equal chance at getting it in smash when blocks are randomly being thrown everywhere.

To make it even worse, there should be a mist in the map (just like horror). The mist shouldn't be as strong though, should be visible enough to see both pipes no matter where you are, but the sky should be dim with fog so that nobody can see EASILY where the blocks are. But note, the mist must be light - so that you CAN see all the blocks if you concentrated.

And so - that is my first idea, I hope you like it (<- Towards the creator/admins) and I hope you (the reader) like it too :3

I'll update this topic whenever I have new Round-ideas or weaponry or some sort of new idea that is not under any of those categories.

Okay - I'll be posting from here on out for any slope Ideas I have.
My first idea will be right below this... >w>

My Ideas will revolve around the fact that something NEW must happen in slope. Special rounds - Special Props, abilities - something beyond these lines, etc.

My first idea is that a TRAIN-ONLY round happens in the server. a 1/20 Chance of it happening (or an increased/decreased chance, up to the admins).
The reward for winning the map is Tripled, and the Gift rate is Doubled during the 1 round that this happens
A song picked from a good list of songs suitable for this event will appear with the round - an example would be

And it would play as if an apocalyptic event just happened. Winning the round should also play something new, or maybe just add the "cheer" sound 20x with different sound levels all around the character, cheering the winner for their courageous effort and victory, of beating the round.

I hope to be updating this post sometime in the future to add more ideas to see if the admin can accept them and help make slope more unique and interesting :3

I had to retype this - Due to my idiocy of closing the window before hitting Post - So many words that I typed in the beginning won't be here. Not to fear - all the information WILL be here though to prove their bans and hopefully give them a longer period to think about what they've done.

Overwatch - Spammed Microphone and Chat, Insulted ME and a few others in the server, Stalled the gamemode "Slope" For a couple of minutes - refusing to go up (Until the Banhammer dropped).
Was warned - Approximately : 4 Times

HankTheCrank - Spammed Microphone and Chat, Insulted less than Overwatch but still insulted, Defended Overwatch for his Trolling actions, An "Accomplice" Of Overwatch (Apparently this is going on youtube), Refused to stop until the Banhammer dropped.
Was warned - Approximately : 3 Times

Not to mention that both these "trolls" gave me a massive headache =~= . . .

Though the 2 Demos do show Overwatch stalling and if Demo's show everything visible - it'll show the chat being spammed constantly (This can be taken from the logs as well if you look back on it).

The 2 Demo's are below - both at the same timeframe (#2 Instantly started after #1 hit it's size limit)

I hope these 2 get the bans they deserve, and learn from it to not be banned again for (hopefully) an extremely long period of time.

I apologize for making a bot for the usage of receiving tokens. Honestly, I have thought of the consequences - but it is not listed in the rules word-for-word, so, why not give-it-a-shot huh?

Only having 4 hours per day now instead of 9 due to moving issues in school and problems elsewhere, i at least wanted to keep my usual token gain that i always have for the server. If it means I have to lose tokens for something appearing in my life and ruining my time without permission - then so be it, but i'd like my spring break back -~- ...

So can i have my spring break back with my ban lifted off a few days?... Maybe today? :c

As said in the title, I'd love this thread to be posts of only things I create for the admins to see and to verify if they can be placed into the game, or not.
Without further or do - I present the FIRST item I have an idea for, which is the Gravity Mine!

The Gravity Mine, does the effect that is entitled to it's name! Randomizes your gravity!
Stepping on the mine can increase your gravity to 200% (double gravity)
Or half the gravity that is on you at this moment! (Movement speed may apply to your gravity) 50% (Half Gravity)

The mine, being a randomize of Good or Bad uses (just like the repulsion to save or kill your life)
Will have 4 'ammo' to place down on the floor, to Gravitate your enemies!

So when the time comes, to save your life, do you half it? Or double it?
Jump the Gap? Or fall faster?
Kill your foe...? Or Save him?

You'll never tell - It's random like that.

-EDIT- I have also Picture-proof of me Creating this item idea first. If any person has taken this idea before me on the FORUMS - Ask me, I have the proof-in-the-pudding. =w=

The mine will have the look of a repulsion mine, But will have 2 Arrows as the picture. A red arrow pointing down, and a light-blue arrow pointing up, and the inside of the mine will be purple (The light coming from the inside). The outside texture is the same, and yeah... That is what it looks like. =w=
