Title: Suggest a Smash Weapon / Tool!

Since we have the loadout system for Smash now, we can add several new weapons and tools.
Post your (reasonable) ideas for weapons or tools in here.

Mines are the easiest and fastest for me to implement but I am open to any other suggestions.

PS: Please don't suggest anything that is overpowered or could potentially enable exploits (nocliping...).

Effect: double's the speed of the person who hits it for a short time 2-3 seconds
why: cuase people to lose control a bit, get away fast, have someone shoot over the edge or run into a set of mines

This would stop blocks from hitting said area for 20 seconds or so thats it is active.

This isn't a weapon suggestion as such, but it relates to Smash and to the mines. As we all know, the gifts can now give negative effects. Would it be possible for a message to be shown when someone gets a bad gift? "Ahahaha! Willdy got gift and got blown up!". Secondly, have it been considered to give them more negative effects? Not a higher chance of them, but more variety - possibly using effects from mines.

Not sure the Cover me mine would work (Or require lot work to fix)
as the platforms are Func_Physbox and the ball/boxes are too

So if the mine is place on its side would cause the platforms to be pushed

Mine Mine : Essentially causes the platoform to break when stepd on. Horrifiyingly unbalencing, but if a explosion could be tied to it...:P

[Sapping Slippers]
Has 5 uses
On-Equip you have -50hp
Every time you walk over a mine you will equip the mine but at a cost of -10hp,
Even though you get the mine you WILL still be effected by it when you step on it.

[Re-Force Staff]
Similar to the force staff, except you can push another player instead of your self.
Only works if the other player jumps.

[Spiked Shoes]
Has 3 Uses.
On-equip you have +20hp
Once you step on a mine it will not effect you and will break.
The owner of that mine will get half a mine back.(Break 2 get 1 back etc..)

Teleporter
20 second recharge.
Allows you to set a single position to teleport back to.
20% chance for it to fail and jam for the rest of the round when trying to teleport.
Right click would set a position. Left click starts teleporting.
For 2 seconds your controls disable while you teleport.

Chain Link
? uses.
30 second recharge.
Chains together two platforms (or demonic boxes).
Left click selects the first spot to be chained. Right click sets the second spot.
If both spots are close enough (1300 units?) it will link them together, otherwise it resets both spots and you must set them again. Also if possible, make it so you can walk on the link.

Winged Boots (Revamp?)
Currently they aren't very useful since you only take fall damage from repulsion mines or on smash combine.
Maybe making them lower your gravity and giving +50 health would help? Also, if it isn't too unbalanced, make them make you unable to be pushed by other people?

Mini Demonic Box Gun
5 uses.
10 second recharge.
Shoots out a small demonic box. Wouldn't be too much force so it can't instantly murder people. 3 of them would be able to weigh down a platform so that it falls if they were placed in one corner.

Bag of Balloons
3 uses.
15 second recharge.
Creates a balloon that has a slight upward force.

Leaf Blower
Causes people to slide away as if someone was walking into them. Would have a range of about 1000 units. Hold down left click to push whoever you look at.
User cannot move while pushing people.

Pickpocket
10 second recharge.
Steals 10k cash from whoever you are next to. If they move too far away you fail at pickpocketing.
10% chance to fail. Takes 3 seconds to pickpocket someone. You can only pickpocket the same person 3 times per round.

Rollermine
2 uses.
30 second recharge.
Spawns a rollermine that attacks people, including the person who spawns it. Wouldn't die when falling to the ground, so it would serve as an alternative way to kill people who spawn on the ground.
Would count as a kill for the user if someone who was hit dies within 8 seconds.

Demonic Box Destroyer
2 shots.
40 second recharge.
Shoot a demonic box with it to instantly break it. Uses a single shot even if it misses.

Invisible Paint
2 uses.
Turns a platform invisible.

desc: pushes any one player closest to the user adds 600 velocity(and some height. otherwise they will move like one inch) to the direction the user if facing.
Cooldown:same as force staff

name: Broken force staff.
Desc: same use as force staff but adds 1200 velocity instead.
Cooldown: One use per round.

Name: Reaction Mine
Description: Moves the victim in a random direction until they perform a certain action (For instance hit a certain chain of keys, or move the mouse so much)

Name: Shock Mine
Description: Sporadically changes the victims movement speed and jump height.
Duration: 3-6

Name: Conversion Mine
Description: Steals a victims mine ammo, and rewards the user with 10 health for each mine stolen. Only steals one per trigger.

Name: Suicide Mine
Description: When triggered the victim is subject to any damage (or death), done to the placer of the mine.

Note: You can collect a list of people who step on this and kill them all by killing yourself.

[Combo Kicks]
Desc:
On use, will send you up in the air and starts a timer and a combo counter. The timer should be randomized from 3 minutes~5 minutes, during this time you cannot touch a platform or you will die, however if you stomp on other players head they lose -5hp each time you stomp them, but if you collide with a Demonic box you gain a "life" to prevent death if you touch a platform,instead of dieing you will be relaunched into the air to continue your Combo, when the timers up you die.

Zapper Mine : A player that steps on this mine will take 2-5 Damage Per Second for 3-5 Seconds in a very short limited range. Lowest Damage Possible - 6, Highest Damage Possible - 25.
Description : An unfortunate player that steps on this mine will get electrocuted.
Reload Time : 12 Seconds. (Preferrably)

Cobalt Basher: Pushing players is strengthened by 20-40% (I have no idea if this is possible to implement).
Description: Using the basher allows you to rush players in tough situations.
Cobalt Shield : Damage received is decreased by 2-10% by each inflicted attack.
Description: While equipping the shield, damage received is more forgiving.

Shock Mine

This mine when ran over causes a small shock to be sent out, paralyzing players for +1 Second within a small radius including the owner if within the radius as well as removing -10 HP

Grip Mine

When stepped on it pulls players towards it within a medium radius for 3-5 seconds.

Description: The unlucky person who steps on this will be sucked into the mine, along with any other people around.

Bubble pack tool

When the round starts you get 3 charges, each charge prevents 1 mine effect. :)
If you run out of charges then mines will effect you as normal.

Effect: Dampens the wobbling of platforms slightly, giving the player a bit more time before the platform starts falling over. (maybe just make it have lots of air resistance?)

Smash Weapon: Defensive
Name: Metal detector
Common Stats:
(1 - 10%) Extra Cash
(1 - 10%) Finding a rare item
(1 - 10%) Finding a magic item
(0 - 1) Socket(s)
(-10 - 20) Movespeed
Uses(s):
Active: On activation the metal detector reveals all mines or traps within a (Insert fair Radius) area for 5 seconds.
Activation time: 10 - 15 seconds
Passive: Shows all mines within a small area around the user.

Info:
This weapon is mainly a defensive. Since its a "Metal" detector you have better chance of finding rare, magic items and gold! I think it would be a GREAT addition to the old Winged boots and force staff. If you like or dislike my idea please add your comments!

PS: This may be to OP, but maybe it shows what KIND of mine the mine is when it detects mines :P

Tele-Swap Mine

Ammo: 2
Type: Mine
Charge-Up Time: 10 Seconds
Recharge Time: 5 Seconds

Usage
This mine is a specially designed mine, only for the clever or tricky.
Upon placing this mine, it does not charge up - until the second mine has been placed.
After placement of the 2nd mine, the mine then charges up 10 seconds, before enabling itself to be trigger-able.
If an enemy player passes through mine #1/2 - He/she will hear a "lock-on" sound.
It takes 10 seconds for the lock-on to be removed via. Automatically.
If another enemy player steps on the opposite mine that has not been triggered - both players will swap locations immediately. The sound of chains clanking and a portal-jump noise (From Hl2, not Portal) plays as both players are stunned for 3 seconds after swapping places. The enemy players can then move about freely (or die, for money) - as the mine takes 5 seconds to recharge itself and select its next teleport-victim.

If one of the mines happen to disappear (via, other mine dying with a falling platform) - then the other mine locks on, but can never finish the teleport-sequence. Players who are locked on also will be counted for money if killed after being "locked-on".

This mine should be its own tier, or the relic-version of the stun mine (Given the fact that it stuns after teleporting).
If it happens to be a relic, if ever added - It should contain a little bit of Magic find, and Fragment find.
(Magic = Portal, Fragment = Bending of space and time). It's drawback should be less paint and rare.
any other stats or ideas may be added past this point.

Item: Spiked Boots of Stomping
If the owner of the boots lands ontop of somebody, the player bellow will take damage depending on how high the jumper went in the air.

Item: Ring of Health
Has 3 charges, when activated the owner either could get a certain amount of hp, or a certain amount of health per second, also plays the binding of issac sound when you eat the yum heart.

Item: Gravestoner's Ring
Has a small chance of resurrecting a player after dieing, I know what you're thinking, "that would be overpowered!" well think of it like this, the spawn platform is already knocked down so they fall to their death again it's a luck ring. Also could only be used once per round.

Tell me what you think.

Upon wanting to help more I have also though of a couple of relic mines to add to the list.

Shocking Surprise: Relic Stun Mine
+(15-25) Increased Movement Speed
+(30-35) Chance to find rare item
(35,45,55,65,75) chance to be electrocuted dealing a damage based on the percentage of health.
-(25-40) more fall damage resistance
-(10-20) cash earned
Up to 3 sockets

Internal Damnation: Relic Bleeding Mine
+(20-35) Maximum Health
+(30-40) Cash Earned
(When hit the user will take periodic damage even if they aren't moving)
-(10-15) Movement Speed
-(20-30) Chance to find magic item
Up to 2 sockets.

I will be thinking of more things to think about adding periodically, some feedback would be great!

What about a mine that will simply do a direct amount of damage.

Or, a cool tool would be a winged boots sort of action, you have to crouch and hold it,(or something similar) and then launch your self. (and propell people around you away)
