I'm late, but nothing in the map is lua at all other than the rounds and addons. The map itself can work standalone though. Basically layout some platforms in the design you want. Make sure they're spaced enough to be able to fall, but to occasionally bring down other platforms as well as allow other players across. Other than that you just need one or two cannons depending on the layout, with a sort of flat pyramid in the center that moves around a square shape of path_tracks. Different speeds are typically used. The cannons just fire boxes based off timers at random intervals (between a short minimum and maximum time such as 2 to
. As a side note, all of the platforms should have a massive amount of health, such as 1 million. Boxes should have double, such as two million. I reccomend a trigger_hurt to kill players only slightly above the base pillars (the static ones that do not move), and another below it that kills both clients and props. It should deal the same damage as the entity on your map with the most health (or more). Something new I did on my smash map was put a thin trigger_hurt along the walls of the map for props only, that does 75,000 damage. If a platform gets stuck against the wall, it takes damage slowly. This is probably the worst explanation ever, but it is a simple main idea. Anyway, the best reccomendation is to download vmex and decompile a smash map as a reference. As long as you do not use it as anything more than a reference, you should be fine. These only take about a few hours to a day to make, although if you want it to look good, they may take a couple days (which is still fast timing). If you need further help, let me know!
