Alright, so I have started my final semester of classes and I am very busy right now so I can only focus on coding the important aspects of our gamemodes / addons.
This is why I need somebody to help me out with the "documentation" (help) of our shop addon.

Currently, the help menu (when you type /help or hit the blue icon in the shop) is rather short and incomplete. I now need somebody to write up and explain some of the features of the shop, inventory, crafting menu, etc.
What the help menu should look like:
  • Home
    • Page 1: Explains what the addon is all about.
  • Shop
    • Page 1: Explains currencies, how to earn money and how to receive goldbars.
    • Page 2: Lists item types and tells the user where purchased items go.
    • Page 3: Talk about special items (voicechangers, moneybags) and item quality.  ✖ nonSENSE will do this
  • Inventory
    • Items (Sub Menu)
      • Page 1: General info about the inventory, explain buttons, ... ✖  matthebest11
      • Page 2: Explain drop system
    • Crafting (Sub Menu)
      • Page 1: General info, explain how to craft ✖ Willdy will do this/Ask for it
      • Page 2: Explain how to read crafting recipes ✖ Willdy will do this/Ask for it
  • Market
    • ?
Some of these are done, some are far from that and I have probably forgotten some categories in the menu. I need ideas and feedback on how to improve the structure of the menu and / or which content needs to be added.
It is extremely difficult and time-consuming for me to go over these features so I ask for your help! Please post some small "guides" I can include in the game. If you have questions about a specific feature or have trouble explaining something, don't hesitate to ask!

Thank you!

If anyone would like to help with anything listed above then please make a post about it. I am willing to do the crafting pages if you would rather do them then please reply and feel free. All of the guides should be incorperated in to the wiki pages. Nonsense can then choose where he wants to move them to, and if he wants to move them ingame.

As of now, there is 'reward' as such other than knowing you are helping the community and building the wiki pages. If you assist with the making of these pages you will be working towards earning the medal of excellence.

Crafting Page:
MoronYard has a very indepth and advanced crafting ability which all players have access too, however some of the crafting recipes are restricted to Diamond VIP, most of them are public! Crafting can be used for many different things. For example, you can put together four chest fragments and produce a chest! If you craft that chest with a key, you will open it and be given an item.

You can access the craft window by typign /craft - This will display a window with 9 boxes on one side (your inventory), and 6 boxes on the other side which acts at the crafting window. If you add a recipe from your inventory by clicking the item then clicking the arrow (or double clicking the item) you will be able to craft with it.

If you want to view the possible crafting recipes then you can click the "Recipes" button which can be found under the craft button. If you click this it will display all the possile crafting combinations, if you click the items it will show alternatives which you could use.

Just choose one, I would rather you didn't choose the crafting options since I would like to do them. If you require any assistance then please ask and I will help you. Once you have chosen one reply here and I will change it on the list.

Despite being under orders not to delete threads or posts, I have deleted the 3 replies which were on this thread.

Do not delete any posts. Split them and move them to The Void.

Can do the information on item drops.

How do you want this done? Write it up into a post or something? Directly edit the wiki / documentation window? Or put it in a .txt even lol..

For now, just write in a post on here then we will take it and make it in to a wiki/help page :)

Anything in red needs to be added / changed before adding it to the wiki.

The MoronYard servers use a system similar to Team Fortress 2's item drops.

When you "find" an item, it will be displayed to chat, as well as kept in a small window at the upper left of your screen. This window will reset after a map change, a rejoin, or if other events fill it up, however any item(s) you may have found will stay in your inventory (view with /inventory in chat).

Most items can be found randomly throughout play, but obviously some have higher chances and some have lower. There are exceptions to this, as premium items CANNOT be found. For instance, you will never find a Gold Bar randomly, you must donate. You will also never find "Special Items" such as Voice Changers or Money Bags. IF THERE ARE OTHER THINGS THAT CAN'T BE FOUND ADD MORE HERE. CAN'T THINK OF ANY RIGHT NOW.

The drop system uses per day amounts, resetting each night at midnight server time (ADD SERVER TIMEZONE). Depending on what rank you have and what you have signed up for, you will get different amounts of drops each day. If you want to check how many drops you have left, use /settings in chat.
  • By default, you will get 5 item drops a day
  • If you join the public Steam Community Group (/join in chat), you get an extra 2 per day
  • If you donate for Silver Member ($5), you get an extra 2 item drops per day
  • If you donate for Gold Member ($10), you get an extra 4 item drops per day
  • If you donate for Diamond Member ($15), you get an extra 7 item drops per day

NOTE: If you have multiple of these things, they WILL add up.
For instance, if you have Diamond Member and you're part of the Steam Group, you will get: 5 (default) + 2 (Steam Group) + 7 (Diamond Member) for a total of 14 item drops per day.

Just gimme a quick note in this thread if I forgot something, I quickly drafted this up, so chances are that I left something out.
