Reason: I was being stupid that day and got really bored and started using a mod and cheated on your servers I obviously learned my lesson and stopped modding all together.

Isn't he the first unbanned person ? If so then congrats that you learned your lesson and played fairly.

Not really. If a player who was banned automatically by the system for speedhacking on slope decides to apologize and post a ban appeal, they will get a second chance.
