The Stun mine was one of the first mines, added in the smash update along with the smash map Combine (Smash). When tripped, the victim is stunned for a brief period of 1-2 seconds, and unable to do anything. This is the same effect some Blasters and Razors have in dodgeball, equivalent to a tier 3 to 4 stun effect. Usually players who are killed under the effects of this mine die because they are stunned on a platform that is collapsing, and are unable to escape a gravity induced demise because of it
