Gold Bars are the currency obtained from either donating for gold or diamond membership (giving respectively 1 and 2 gold bars) or directly donating for them, at 5.00$ USD. They are used to purchase premium items in the Shop, which range from 1 to 3 bars in cost.
If you would like to buy gold bars, then you will need to donate real life currencys to the community. You should remember how much it costs to run the servers, and have them there for your enjoyment. The hosting of the game servers costs money, the hosting of the website costs money and that's before we even start talking about all the time and effort which has been invested in to the community over the last year!
