I have recently stumbled upon a problem where when running up a slope instead of smoothly running the I starts to walk then run and walk then run, moving slower at random intervals.
I feel like this may have something to do with the items i have equip which are a 14+ speed hat, 3+ speed aura, and 3+ speed attachment.
The odd thing is that with the hat and aura equip the problem only occurs upon pressing down a second directional key.
However when i equip the attachment as well i begin to walk and move slowly when simply walking straight!
I want to continue getting speed items however this glitch is making me move slower than normal speed players...
Friends such as Mumford have also confirmed this random bug...

Ive heard that the speed cap is about +17

It's caused by how the source engine handles slopes and movement. There isn't really anything I can do about this unfortunately :-\

Hey mind if i ask when the slope and smash servers are gonna be functional again?
